Graphically Engaging Opinion Articles with Beautiful Language is a writing unit designed for students to explore their passions and interests and express their opinions using structural and linguistic devices. 

The goals for this unit was:

• For students to use their critical thinking skills to construct meaningful opinion pieces

• For students to be able to include a range of persuasive strategies to convince a reader

• For students to be able to talk about the strategies they use to convince their readers

All students have chosen a meaningful topic that has relevance to the current world, and a topic they feel a strong connection towards. 

During Term 3 Remote Learning, students were taught many skills to develop their persuasive writing skills, and have written a total of 3 opinion articles. The articles in this celebration are the ones students felt the most proud of.
